Jane Burgess holds a Bachelors and Artist Diploma in voice performance. Jane has 10+ years of teaching experience and is at home singing on both Opera and Musical Theater stages.
This beginner level course starts you off with a solid foundation on chords, rhythm and basic melodies while you learn to play current and classic rock and pop songs.
Do you like the new hit TV show "GLEE"? If so, you will love our new Show Choir class! In the past Art House hosted a week long show choir camp which generated enough interest to start an ongoing class. So come and be a part of Art House Astoria's show choir "Majestic Melody"! In this class students will learn solo and ensemble numbers which combine singing, dancing and theatrics. Students will have the opportunity to perform at Art House events as well as events throughout the community. This class will no doubt be both educational and a lot of fun!
