Zofia Bogusz, originally from Poland, is a New York based visual artist.
She holds a BFA from the School of Visual Arts, with an expertise in illustration, oil painting and draftsmanship. Zofia exhibits professionally in galleries throughout New York. Her work is both representational and surreal, depicting themes of water, war and identity.
Zofia has taught art in a private and classroom setting. She was the Art Coordinator at the Boys' Club of New York, a non profit after-school program for inner city boys. There she led a malaria benefit fashion gallery presented at Christie's Auction House. Zofia has also donated her paintings to the Jazz for Peace benefit, held at the New York Historical Society, and Visual AIDS in Galerie Lelong.
