Join Astoria's own Michael Hicks for an evening of heartfelt, witty original music at Art House Astoria. A longtime member of the Art House community and a sought-after theater accompanist, Michael returns with new songs alongside audience favorites. Accompanying himself on piano, guitar, and accordion (not all at once!), Michael's concerts are equal parts humor, honesty, and exceptional musicianship.

Private lessons and group classes are open—and summer is one of the best times to jump in.
With lighter schedules and fewer school-year demands, students can try something new or spend more focused time growing on their instrument. And because we know summer includes travel and downtime, our scheduling is intentionally flexible.
