Private Lessons are offered in the following increments:
30-minutes
45-minutes
60-minutes
The right time window for your student will vary depending on instrument, age, and skill level.

Students will meet with their private lesson teacher once a week each week for 30, 45, or 60 minutes, depending on which lesson length you select.
The goal for each lesson is to provide time for building a relationship, warming up, reviewing what was learned in the previous lesson and providing new instruction.
Enrollment for lessons is on and ongoing basis from September to June. If you would like to stop lessons , a 2-week notice is required before your next billing cycle.

Makeup lessons are not offered for holiday or snow closures. Tuition is based on a four (4) week month and months that contain five (5) weeks of lessons count as a makeup for holidays or snow days.

Our teachers reserve time on their schedules, plan for your lessons, and invest in the long-term development of each student. To provide regular, quality lessons, the following policies need to be observed.
No tuition credit or refund will be provided for missed lessons.
A Make-up Lesson Credit will be issued when a lesson is cancelled with at least 24-hour advance notice through your Opus1 account.
You may receive up to three excused absences per school year (September–June).
To qualify as an excused absence, families must submit cancellation through Art House’s online portal at least 24 hours in advance.
Unexcused absences and last-minute illnesses (less than 24 hours’ notice) do not qualify for makeup or refund.
All makeups must be scheduled within the same semester when possible. Makeups not scheduled by the school-year end are forfeited.
No-shows are considered unexcused.
PRICING
Art House Astoria’s primary mission is to make art education accessible and affordable to all students.

We charge a monthly fee based on the length of the lesson as follows:
30-minutes: $168 per month
45-minutes: $232 per month
60-minutes: $295 per month
Art House tuition is due on the 1st of every month. A credit card is required to be kept on file for tuition at sign up. Tuition is a flat monthly fee. Most months have four (4) or five (5) lessons, and on rare occasions, three (3) lessons when in observance of major national holidays (see our calendar). Tuition is due on the first of each month and is billed automatically to a credit card on file. (“Auto-pay”).

Withdrawal requests must be submitted by email to arthouseastoria@gmail.com no later than the 15th of the month prior to your last month of lessons.
Example: To end lessons by April 1, notify us by March 15.
We do not prorate mid-month withdrawals.
Students may withdraw from lessons between September 15 and May 15.
