Financial Assistance at Art House

At Art House Astoria, we believe that every student should have the opportunity to explore the arts, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. Financial assistance is available to help make our programs more accessible to families who need additional support.

How Financial Assistance Works

Financial assistance is awarded based on financial need and the funds available for each school year. Awards are determined on a yearly basis, so families must reapply each year. Assistance may cover a portion of tuition and applies to one group class per student. Financial assistance is not currently available for private lessons. Because our financial assistance funds are limited, we encourage families to apply as early as possible.

  • Families experiencing financial hardship or who may have difficulty affording tuition are encouraged to apply. We consider each application individually and do our best to support as many students as possible with the resources available to us.

  • Every family is expected to contribute toward tuition based on their ability to pay. Tuition assistance is intended to reduce financial barriers while preserving the sustainability of our programs.

    Financial assistance is partial and does not cover the full cost of tuition.

  • Financial Assistance is available for one school year. Families must reapply for assistance for subsequent school years.

  • Financial Assistance applies to one class per student. If your family has multiple students wishing to take classes at Art House, assistance packages will be calculated to include assistance for per each student.
